I saw Dr Davar for sudden high and uncontrolled blood pressure. He was very thorough to do all the tests himself and in a one stop shop which was very reassuring. He made sure to check for all possible underlying causes and made excellent referrals to other professionals when the likely underlying condition was detected. I'm very grateful for his care, knowledge and expertise and would definitely recommend him. Thank you.

I have been under Dr Joseph Davar's care for many years. I have a very complex heart condition and he has always explained to me very clearly my various options, and where and when necessary has referred me on to specialist care. One of my conditions has been a leaking valve which had progressed from moderate to severe. Unfortunately due to other problems with my heart I was not a candidate for either open-heart surgery or the standard TAVI operation, but Dr Davar was always encouraging and told me he would be on the look-out for any new technology from which I could benefit. And he was true to his word. A year later he discovered a new type of valve on the market for which I was a candidate and he immediately arranged for me to have this surgery which was very successful. I was only the 15th person in this country to receive this valve. I could see how delighted he was for me and his personal care, professionalism and expertise have given me complete confidence in him.

Dr Davar is simply the most wonderful Doctor I have ever met. He made a diagnosis that was totally unexpected (by him as well as me!) but I have always felt confident in his care. He is patient and charming , but, most importantly, a genuinely caring doctor and person

I have been extraordinarily fortunate to have Dr Davar as my cardiologist.He diagnosed my heart condition 7 years ago and oversaw the procedures leading to a quintuple heart bypass and insertion of a pacemaker. At one of my regular post op checks 3 years ago he detected that there was something wrong and sent me for tests which lead to a prostate cancer diagnosis - even though this is not his field. He is very well respected by his peers. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
